Project Connect

Project connect is a project development and bid writing support organisation led by Gram Phillips.

With a focus on culture and the arts we aim to to support non profits with their project development and bid writing.

Gram has worked in this field for many years, first in Washington DC for a nationwide homelessness organisation, and since 2016 as a funding project and policy officer for a UK county council.

During this time at the county council Gram has delivered over 20 bid writing workshops, from foundation to advanced, and supported an average of £20m a year in successfull funding applications.

Project Connect can deliver bespoke bid writing workshops for any organisation and can include advanced topics such as developing outcome metrics and green book methodology or foundation topics such as making your application stand out.

We can also support you with finding innovative funding solutions and creating new funding streams. Gram has considerable experience in developing Social Impact bonds( SIBs) and other forms of social investment.

Unlike many organisations offering to support the VCSE sector with bid writing Project Connect does not charge for funding application support upfront, only 5%, and only if your funding application is funded.

Project Connect does charge for project development, workshops and capacity building support, including development of funding strategies. These charges are based on your requirements and the size of your organisation.Where possible we will help you in seeking grants to cover these costs.
